Welcome

At Canvas Neuropsychology our clinical neuropsychologists are dedicated to providing the highest standard of clinical care. We offer high quality neuropsychological assessments and consultations drawing on best practice evidence based approaches.

We understand that each person is unique and we aim to tailor our assessments to meet the specific needs of each individual. Our focus is on client centered care.

Our knowledge of the brain structure and function helps us to understand what factors are contributing to changes in your cognition, psychological wellbeing and behaviour. With this knowledge we can provide management plans and recommendations to help optimise your quality of life.

We also provide evaluations that may assist health specialists and other professionals. A neuropsychological assessment ensures we are able to understand what may be contributing to changes in your memory and thinking abilities.

How can Canvas help?

Canvas Neuropsychology provides the highest standard of clinical care for adults and older adults. Our neuropsychological assessments and consultations draw on best practice evidenced based approaches.
Each person is unique and we aim to tailor our assessments to meet the specific needs of each individual. Client centered care is our focus and deep understanding is our difference.

Individuals may self refer by contacting the clinic directly or may also be referred by a service provider such as a General Practitioner, Neurologist or Lawyer.
Please be aware that there are set timeframes for any medico-legal and forensic neuropsychological assessments. Please ensure you contact our clinicians for further information and to make an appointment.

Making a referral

A Clinical Neuropsychologist is trained in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of individuals experiencing the cognitive, emotional and behavioural consequences of neurological, medical, developmental and/or psychiatric conditions. Neuropsychological evaluations can help to identify whether cognitive abilities have been altered and how this may impact on day to day functioning.
